e2v and ApisSys to launch state-of-the-art transmitter receiver board (AV125)

Utilizing the power of e2v’s next-generation Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) and Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) technologies, ApisSys is developing its most advanced transmitter receiver board to date, the AV125. The prototype is scheduled for release mid-2016.

The AV125 will be the first C-band capable ADC-DAC-FPGA that combines 2GHz of instantaneous bandwidth with a total latency of 30 nanoseconds from ADC input to DAC output. The previously unachievable possibilities of ApisSys’ AV125 are realized with e2v’s newly announced EV12AS350 ADC and EV12DS400 DAC.

The microwave capable data converters from e2v enable signal processing of up to 4.5GSps whilst retaining very stable performance vs. temperature. Unrivalled performance in demanding environments makes the AV125 ideal for electronic warfare, digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) and wideband communication applications.

e2v and ApisSys create C-band capable microwave generating FMC format board (AF209)

e2v’s latest ultra-wideband Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), EV12DS400, has been selected by ApisSys for its AF209 board creating the most powerful, software defined microwave device to date in the tiny FMC form factor.

Advanced data converter technology from e2vhas been utilized in the new AF209 plug and play board launched by ApisSys, the first signal generation board capable of generating signals at a frequency of up to 7GHz, with an instantaneous bandwidth above 2GHz.

Customers can harness the potential of the EV12DS400 DAC, launched by e2v earlier this month, on the newly released board from ApisSys without having to develop hardware themselves. The AF209 is capable of generating multiple microwave frequency bands straight from the output of the e2v DAC, making it ideal for test and measurement, radar transmitter, electronic warfare and Software Defined Radio applications.

The release of the AF209 comes shortly after ApisSys registered for early access to the EV12DS400 DAC from e2v. ApisSys to unveil two new Ultra High Speed Data Converter 3U VPX products

ApisSys unveils two new members of its VITA 65 3U OpenVPX product range, dedicated to the embedded market.

The AV119 3U OpenVPX board features a dual channels RF transceivers with 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth between 300 MHz and 4.5 GHz, idealy suited for L and S band Radar transceivers and EW applications. Based on 12-bit 2.5 Gsps ADC and 16-bit 2.5 Gsps DAC with IQ modulators, the AV119 supports a Xilinx Virtex® 7 FPGA, VX415T or VX690T, and one bank of 256M64 DDR3 memory. The AV119 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.


The AV121 3U OpenVPX board provides the customer with an unsurpassed quad channel 12-bit 4 Gsps Analog to Digital Converter along with a Xilinx Virtex® 7 FPGA, VX415T or VX690T, and one bank of 256M64 DDR3 memory. The AV121 is dedicated to Wideband Radar and EW ESM receivers and is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.


The AV119 will be available in production by end of Q1 2015.
The AV121 will be available in production by end of Q1 2015.


ApisSys SAS receives 3.5 M€ orders for EW application.

ApisSys SAS, a leading provider of high speed data conversion and signal processing solutions, announces it has received a 3.5 M€ (about $4.5 Million) purchase order from Thales UK to deliver some of its advanced data conversions 3U VPX boards for an Electronic Warfare deployed solution.

The order was booked during the summer 2014 with shipments scheduled over 3 fiscal years.

The AV113 3U OpenVPX board provides the customer with an unsurpassed Octal channel 14-bit 1.25 Gsps Analog to Digital Converter along with a Xilinx Virtex® 7 FPGA, VX415T or VX690T, and one bank of DDR3 memory. The AV113 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.


The AV113 will be available in production by mid 2014.


ApisSys launch one new VITA 65 3U OpenVP

ApisSys announces the availability of the AV112, a 3U OpenVPX board based on one of the largest Virtex 7 FPGA, XC7VX980T, which provides the customer with a single QSFP+ interface featuring more than 80 Gbps and two banks of 256M x 64-bit DDR3 SDRAM.

ApisSys unveils three new members of its VITA 65 3U OpenVPX product range, dedicated to the embedded market.

The AV107 3U OpenVPX board provides the customer with an unsurpassed Quad channel 12-bit 2.5 Gsps Analog to Digital Converter along with a Xilinx Virtex® 7 FPGA, VX415T or VX690T, and one bank of DDR3 memory. The AV107 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.

The AV108, 3U OpenVPX board provides the customer with a versatile SBC based on the recently introduced Xilinx ZYNQ® 7030 or 7045 SOC, with support for XMC or FMC mezzanine card. The AV108 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.

The AV109, 3U OpenVPX board provides the customer with a Triple QSFP+ interface featuring more than 240 Gbps communication capabilities on fiber or copper along with a Xilinx Virtex® 7 FPGA, VX415T or VX690T, and two banks of DDR3 memory. The AV109 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.



The AV107 will be available in production by end 2013.
The AV108 will be available in June 2013.
The AV109 will be available in May 2013.


ApisSys Raised 0.6 million Euros from Venture Capital and Business Angels

ApisSys announces the AF202, a new member of its family of high speed data conversion products, dedicated to the embedded market.

The AF202 is part of ApisSys' range of modular IOs solutions based on the VITA 57, FPGA Mezzanine Card standard. ApisSys to unveil new 3U VPX and FMC products

ApisSys unveils the first members of its VITA 65 3U VPX and VITA 57 FMC product range, dedicated to the embedded market.

The 3U VPX FPGA Processing Engine AV103 provides the customer with a state of the art Xilinx Virtex® 6 FPGA, LX195T to SX475T, along with one FMC slot and QDR memory. The AV103 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.

The AC101, 3U VPX 5 Slot Open Frame Chassis allows to build system applications with up to 5 3U VPX boards connected through a full mesh backplane.

The AF201 is part of ApisSys' range of modular IOs solutions based on the VITA 57, FPGA Mezzanine Card standard. The AF201 provides customers with unsurpassed 12-bit 2 Gsps Analog to Digital conversion along with ultra low jitter clock generation and embedded calibration. The AF201 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.

Also part of ApisSys' range of modular IOs solutions based on VITA 57, the AF301 features a Quad Small Form Factor (QSFP) interface supporting copper or optical transceivers up to 4 x 6.25 Gbps. The AF301 includes an on board low jitter reference clock generator supporting reference clocks as required for PCIe, SATA, SRIO, Fiber Channel, Aurora, Gbit Ethernet or XAUI protocols. The AF301 is available in Convection Cooled and Conduction Cooled versions.

Last product, the AF101 is a VITA 57 FMC loopback module allowing FMC carrier developers and assembly facilities to test and validate FMC interfaces.

ApisSys has moved to larger office in the International Business Center in Archamps - France

ApisSys has moved its offices within the International Business Center in Archamps, close to the Swiss border in Haute Savoie (France).

The company is moving to occupy a larger office in the same building, as the result of a its rapid development.

Accessible from the A40 motorway, exit 13.1, ApisSys is located 15 minutes from Geneva Airport, 30 minutes from Annecy and 90 minutes from Lyon.
